Surfer Girl

This Friday August 22nd, I finally was able to try out surfing! With the crew from work we all went to Santa Cruz for a Staff Appreciation Day. We had SO much fun together! We headed into the water at 7:00AM. It was not cold at all, the body suit helped too though.

I stood up, but only for a couple of seconds. Surfing is A LOT of hard work, by the way. I can't believe how sore I am! If I lived closer to the ocean, you would be finding me doing this all the time.

It's just a matter of time when I do it again, I loved it! I have been asked quite a bit in the past when others find out that I am from California, "Do you know how to surf?" That cliche is no longer. I do know how to surf, begginer style of course ;)

Sam I Am

So, the past two and a half weeks Sam has kept me entertained! We were on dating steroids...we crunched a summer full of fun in a couple of weeks. Where did I meet him? I met him online...yes I said online :) We have had so much fun together, but it was such a short time. He was just here on an internship, and as of now he has gone back to Arizona to finish his Masters in Business Management. I hope we can continue to keep in close touch. If not, it was sweet while it lasted.

Slip Slidin Away

I experienced my first club ever on Saturday. It was my friend Melissa's graduation party from College, and this was the after-after party! 9 of us in all attended and had two guys to protect us ladies. We all dressed up, and headed into San Francisco city.

It was a cool club, it was called "Club Slide". It was named this because you have to go down a slide to get in. Pretty cool huh?!? I thought so :) Plus, it use to be a meeting place during the Prohibition, booze still remains to be a popular hit. The heels came off and down we went. Luckily, there wasn't a lot of "nasty" things going on there, like so many of the stories I have heard before. Pretty good music I must say, and SUPER crowded, need to add as well it was SUPER hot! I got the full club experience, danced my heart out until 1:30AM.

To top it off we had a limo pick us up and take us back to our cars at the Concord Bart! I started the night slippin down a slide, and as fast as I came down that slide that is how fast I slipped into bed! Whew...what a fun night!
